WHAT IS YOUR COVID POLICY?

We understand planning ahead can be hard during these uncertain times. We can usually provide a full refund if your event is cancelled, as long as we have min 3 days notice from the date of your event. If we have sourced anything custom or specific for your order, these items may be non refundable. Please get in touch if you require a refund and we will refund where possible. 

 

DO YOU OFFER SPECIAL DIETRY PRODUCTS?

We do offer many GF and Vegan options, however as a small bakery that uses non-dietary friendly products, we can never verify that no traces may be found in your cake. We are always very careful not to cross contaminate when making special dietary bakes. 

HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU NEED FOR CAKE ORDERS?

The more notice, the better! We can usually fit you in within a few days for small cakes, depending on availability. Friday's and Saturday's are our busiest days, so we recommend getting these in early. For large, bespoke cakes that require ordering of specialised decorations- we need at least 2-3 weeks notice.

DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY FOR CELEBRATION CAKES?

Yes, we offer delivery all across Melbourne. Our online ordering allows for orders to be delivered up to 40km away, your fee will be calculated at checkout. For deliveries further than this, please enquire for a quote. 

HOW DO I TRANSPORT MY CAKE?
Cakes must be transported in a safe manner. All cakes are packaged to ensure they will not slide in their box as well as refrigerated prior to pick up so that the cake is firm and stable. It is recommended that you travel with a partner so they can hold the box while you drive. If this is not possible, place your cake on the floor of your passenger seat side to ensure your cake is flat. You can also place the cake in the boot in a non slip area. 

HOW DO I STORE MY CAKE PRIOR TO MY EVENT?
If you are collecting your cake early, buttercream cakes can be kept in the refrigerator and ganache cakes on the bench (as long as they are not in direct sunlight). If you collect your cake on the day of the event, you may leave it out- cakes are best eaten at room temp!

HOW LONG WILL THE CAKE KEEP?
Your cake is best eaten within 4 days, if stored correctly. Cake that is frozen can be stored up to 3 months.

 

HOW IS MY CAKE BEST EATEN?
Cakes should be taken out of the refrigerator at least 1-2 hours prior to serving. You want to allow the buttercream and cake to come to room temperature.
