Refund policy

REFUND FOR CANCELLATION:

All refunds for cancellations will incur a $10 processing fee. This will be deducted from your refund amount. We can provide full refunds (minus processing fee), if 5 days notice is provided prior to the order collection/delivery date. 

If you provide less than 5 days notice, we can provide a 50% refund. We are a small business and we are not always able to replace your reserved spot when we do not receive at least 5 days notice. If you are cancelling with under 2 days notice, you will not be able to be refunded. All cancellations must be provided in writing. 

REFUND ON A COLLECTED DELIVERED CAKE:
In the case of refunding an order that does not meet standards, please reach out to Matilda at matildafromproof@outlook.com. 

It is your responsibility to ensure your vision is clear at the time of ordering. If you have specific elements/colour schemes in mind, you must send through photos and have this in writing. We do not copy other artists work, and by choosing us you acknowledge that your cake will have our own "Proof Bakehouse" touch and creative flair. No two cakes are the same. 

Please voice at the time of pick up if you are unhappy with your order. We will always do our best to rectify any issues. 

Refunds can only be provided if the cake is returned to the shop. 

REFUND FOR DAMAGE:

We always provide instructions on how to travel with your cakes. Our cakes can be delicate, and we can not be held accountable for any damages if you have collected your cake. We recommend reading out FAQ page for guidance on how to travel with cakes. If you are unable to travel safely with the cake, please opt for our delivery service.
